Rennie Partners expands: Greg Ruthven, Joshua Prince and Sam Beckman to Join
11 October 2021 – Strategy, Regulation and Commercial firm Rennie Partners has appointed Greg Ruthven, Joshua Prince and Sam Beckman as the firm moves from strength to strength.
Simone and Matt Rennie welcomed each of Greg, Joshua and Sam and acknowledged the step change in capacity, seniority and geographical reach that this new senior cohort will bring to the group.
“We are seeing strong demand in the market for strategic, commercial and regulatory assistance, particularly in the infrastructure arena, where the issues range from the existential to the opportunistic for companies” Ms Rennie said.
The most senior of the group, Greg Ruthven, comes to Rennie Partners as an Associate Director from his position as the most senior regulatory officer within AEMO in Western Australia. In that role, Greg’s responsibilities include WA Rule Changes and reviews, and broader NEM Rule Change processes including DER, Integrating Energy Storage Systems and leading the development of AEMO’s Wholesale Market Response Guideline.
Joshua Prince and Sam Beckman are set to join Rennie Partners as Senior Business Analysts. Prior to joining Rennie Partners, Joshua spent two years as a consultant and senior business analyst within the Deloitte Monitor strategy consulting practice. He was also was a member of Deloitte's Climate Action Advisory Council. Sam spent almost 3 years with Deloitte’s performance consulting group working across the Asia Pacific region, and was prior to that an analyst with Lend Lease.

Both Joshua and Sam also solid research and analytical experience in infrastructure industries. Their experience developing future capability requirements, designing future operating models and transformation roadmaps in this space reflects an emerging need in the net zero space”.
Greg begins with the firm on 28 October. Joshua and Sam commence on 18 October.
