Gary Eisner
Gary Eisner is a Manager with Rennie Partners.
Gary provides deep regulatory and market reform advice on electricity and gas sector matters, across generation, networks and retail markets.
Prior to joining Rennie Partners, Gary spent three years at AEMO working across the Regulatory and Stakeholder Engagement teams and worked for almost two years in the Channel Islands for the Government of Jersey in a regulatory advisory role.
Gary has extensive experience analysing the shifting dynamics of Australian energy markets, having been heavily involved in the early stages of battery and hybrid facility integration in the NEM. He provided regulatory analysis and advice on the integration and interoperability of DER in the Western Australian market, giving him an in-depth understanding of the regulatory frameworks currently under development for DER across Australia, and internationally. Prior to working for AEMO, Gary spent 12 years working for the Energy Division of the NSW Government in various roles, with a strong focus on developing policies and regulatory frameworks to drive the switch to renewable energy and has taken a keen interest in the broader shift to decarbonisation.
